Iasis Molecular Sciences Inc., in conjunction with London Health Sciences Centre (Dr. Hassan Razvi & Dr. Jeremy Burton) are the recipient(s) of a $1.5M award from the Congressionally-Directed medical research Program of the Department of Defense, Department of the Army. The Project entitled: “A Novel Urinary Catheter with Tailorable Bactericidal Behavior” applies Iasis Molecular Sciences Antimicrobial technology to a next generation catheter. In this collaborative effort, Iasis Molecular Sciences will formulate, fabricate, optimize and study the new catheter and Doctor Razvi and Doctor Burton will evaluate the new catheter in an animal model for urinary tract & kidney infection.
